Welcome to Out of Lab, a collaborative project for the senior class at the New York City Lab School.

In partnership with Mark Schulte from The Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting, students go on their own walks in the city, inspired by journalist Paul Salopek’s, Out of Eden Walk.

Salopek invites all of us to slow down, observe, and engage in our community by walking, writing, documenting, and talking to people.

We welcome you to view, read, and comment to this year’s student independent projects.
